What about the 6% in both IL and WI that don’t think they are? Literal heartland of the Midwest!!

Illinois and Wisconsin could MAYBE be understood if those weirdo’s think that ‘Great Lakes’ is a region…

Born and raised in Illinois…living in Wisconsin. Midwest…maaaaaaaaaaybe Upper-Midwest for Wisconsin (and Minnesota).

Upper Midwest isn’t a thing, just like Great Lakes and Plains isn’t a thing.

Northeast
Southeast
South
Midwest
Northwest
Southwest
West

There are no other regions.

BlackFork has not sold out? Why is ohio’s premiere gravel event not selling out?

It took about 3 weeks last year.

Literally nobody cares about Ohio.

That’s true. Even LeBron left them…twice.

Living close to ohio I cant figure out why the state sucks at cycling.

Looks like it’s on again for this year.

Karst Crusher 2025 Online Registration. May 3rd. Registration opens tomorrow.

Damn…that date doesn’t work for me. Would like to give that race a go again to redeem my flat from 2 years ago.

Maybe next year.

Thanks. That is great news. This was a fun event. I will check my home calendar and sign up.

Same day as Black Fork

Bummer, wanted to check it out this year too but I’m already signed up for BF.

they appear to be the same amount of climbing

And they’re roughly the same distance drive for me too lol.

I’ll be chasing points in this gravel series . x4 Kansas, x1 Missouri and Nebraska. x2 of the Kansas events cover previous northbound Dirty Kanza/Unbound stuff usually.

Wrong thread……this is the Midwest Events thread.

this map is wacky. If you’d want to take the true meaning of Mid-West being the the west skewed mid of the country, then really Missouri river would be your bullseye and states immediately east and immediately west of it would be considered Midwest. No state that doesn’t border Mississippi river should ever be considered a Midwest and definitely not Ohio. lol
