I don’t see a wire on the rear derailleur does that mean they’ve finally gone wireless?

I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on that single picture. It might even be a CAD rendering from hints I see, and therefore could be missing any number of details and be inaccurate.

Bright side: Tarmacs and Aethos for sale by your local dentist!

Specialized: release a 13k+ bike…
Pinarello: Hold my beer.

The rumor i heard that is semi wireless. No wire from the shifters to the derailers, but the derailers share a battery, so they will have some sort of wire. Totally a rumor, could be just a guess

For those that haven’t seen it, we have a DA 9200 thread worth a look:

Lovely!

That’s why I’m not spending $18K USD on it!

Not just you, I always think the Dogmas look like they’ve melted in the sun!

They will be extremely useful according to the marketing department! Those changes will probably save you 5 minutes when riding at 40mph on a 10 mile TT

Charge port on the rear derailleur, both the RD and FD connected to the battery using the newer (smaller) EW-SD300 wires. The Junction A is gone, it’s part of the rear derailleur now :).

Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. My first thought was, holy hell that thing is ugly.

Spot-on….I’ve said for literally decades that it looks like Pinarello leaves their frames in the oven too long.

As for the DA, this brifter look dramatically different than what we have seen on the DSM bikes recently. Take that pic with a whole shaker of salt….

12 speed WANT WANT WANT. meanwhile I’m fixing a busted 11sp shifter. Dang
