the new ace has a wind port/ sensor… any speculation or even better knowledge on what is the plan?
I thought well regarded wind sensors were around £500 and still not quite ready for mainstream?
I find it dificult to believe that wahoo have managed to include a decent one in a £400 bike computer but hats off to them if true.

This new/separate topic is best for future discussion since on the deeper details we will learn on it over time. Could be worth some thread merging down the line, but I will leave it alone for now or for TR reps to handle if they see the need.
that thread title is misleading in that this is a 2025 item??? which is why I did not look there for some “2025 news” but thanks for not merging it.
That thread title is not misleading when you consider the context:
- It was and is correct in the context that it was made (Dec 2023 while looking to what was coming in 2024).
- The issue may be that people chose to use that one for a pending product that is more likely to be a 2025 item. But since this is a leak vs actual release data, I am not sure we know when this will even be officially announced and/or released.
- As ever, it is preferred to have a unique topic per item so I feel that all future discussion on the computer is best placed here vs that other topic.

The user claiming they bought it on ebay feels like a viral marketing stunt. If that’s the case the release is probably imminent, just in time for Holiday shopping too.
Yep, 100% looks like a stunt. I’ve not been able to find the Ace on eBay, and the QR code on the box is illegible.

The reddit account is brand new and named “anotherwahooligan” which I believe people who work there call themselves . Also their device flair on that sub is “Rival” which is a give away because only people who work at Wahoo use the Rival watch 
.

“Wahooligan” is a term by Wahoo aimed more at creating a “team” or group mentality around the brand.
Gotcha, still sus since I don’t think people commonly use that lol
in the Wahoo community, ie their forum etc, that is a really common thing to talk about a Wahooligan. The other interesting thing is how many cycling news outlets have jumped on this. It would be interesting if it is a farce. Only time will tell.
Looks like a new head unit is launching from Wahoo on 3rd Dec. What are we expecting any new features to include? I love my Roam (v1) but it’s due a refresh and the v2 didn’t offer anything compelling for me so hoping this could be more than just a bump in storage.
