Performance over time graph

It would be really cool to have a feature where we can see a graph of key cycling metrics over time.

I’ve been tracking my weight in a separate app for years. I pulled that data down and cross referenced it from my scraped FTP history and put together a line graph to show stats like weight, ftp, and w/kg.

It’s cool to look at the line graphs and see where things like managing my weight and FTP changes helped my watt per kg ratio. I also popped in points for key dates that I wanted to highlight (start and end of race season, rides I got dropped on that I want to do again but I wasn’t sure if I was fit enough to keep up with the group, when I was in the hospital for appendicitis (it’s sad b/c my w/kg went UP while I was in the hospital b/c I lost so much weight in 3 days :face_exhaling:), etc) I wanted to pull those events in from strava but there’s no export.

Really, I wanted to build this in my own app, but some of the apps involved don’t have public apis

It would be super cool if you tracked or could import weight data and do this kind of reporting in app!

Excel. Surely the point of cycling is to spend more time nerding out over theory and data than pedaling.

@abrooks13 TBF what else am I supposed to do on rest days :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

On a real note, the spreadsheet can show the data, but it’s ultra manual vs just piping the data into TR and letting it render with the rest of the stats. At the moment I have to download a full dump from the app that I record my weight in and then scrape TR’s website (or at least add new entries when my FTP changes). It’s not a massive amount of work by any means, but it seems like a relatively straight forward feature to add into the app considering TR’s services already have the ability to pull in third party data sources.
