Podcast Update!

Hey all,

Just wanted to update you on the podcast and let you know you can still count on the weekly cadence of the Ask a Cycling Coach Podcast amidst all of this turmoil.

We’ll have more info on this later today, but we will be doing the podcast remotely, so while things will be slightly different, this does allow us to bring in @ambermalika!

The remote podcasts will not be live as of yet, as that poses a bunch of technical challenges with our current setup, but we will work our way toward that and be publishing as soon as possible after recording. This week is a bit different since it’s our first run-through, but we still plan on publishing on Thursday and plan to continue that throughout this time period.

We are also in the process of bringing more unique podcast content to you (additional to AACC) that will help make y’all faster, so stay tuned for that over the coming weeks.

Thanks, y’all!

Hey Jonathan. Looking forward to it!

Thanks for making this happen and looking for solutions to this problem rather than just lying down and playing dead!

With all the uncertainty and chaos at the present moment, it’s nice to have the consistency of something we enjoy and takes our minds off it all for a couple hours.

+1. Please let @Nate_Pearson know the Instagram office tour was great. A small but nice way to keep us connected.

I’m only half way through the most recent podcast but really appreciate @Nate_Pearson, @Jonathan, @chad, and @ambermalika going the extra mile to keep some sense of normalcy in these very abnormal times, and helping us get faster for when we can ride and race outside again. Thanks!!

Really appreciated the effort the team went to in producing another quality podcast despite these surreal times we’re living in

Surprisingly good audio from all of the hosts, and consistent across them as well. Kudos! The only improvement would be to make Chad’s audio a bit less “bass” heavy. Very little was lost in terms of the rapport and interaction.

We had some recording issues, that’s why it’s not as good. It should be a lot better next time (if we don’t run into the same issues).

Can’t wait to see the race analysis from Australian racing Heffron.

It was legit good. Even after things get back to normal, this would be a very acceptable format for getting a dose of @ambermalika on a regular basis. Her description of the “aquatic posture” was sublime. Ira Glass used to say that radio is the most visual medium, and this was a good example of that adage.

I think we look best in our heads up display too. Youtube will be out tomorrow am.

Thanks to the TrainerRoad team for keeping the podcasts going. They are informative and fun, and will be a welcome distraction from pandemic news and the isolation I think we all are feeling. Looking forward to the new release!
