That was an impressive ride for someone like him.

I never though he stood a chance today and he kept proving me wrong. Only with 700m to go did the race finally get away from him and it was because MVdP and JA are the best in the world at those punchy climbs.
I am impressed.
Benal is doing super well. He did amazing to keep up with Ala and MvdP and the amount of punch that the two of them have.

If his back issue(s) are to be believed, this race must have been pure hell! All of those sharp, punchy climbs and sudden accelerations. The lad must have been close to tears at points. Nothing but total respect for the young lad
