Question on Ramp Test

I’m planning to do a Ramp Test. My current FTP is 153 and the last interval of the Ramp Test has a target power of 208. Base on the calculation method if I complete that last interval my possible FTP is 156 (208 x 0.75). Is my understanding correct?

The ramp test does not end, it will keep incrementing until you pop.

If you make it to the 20 mins then yes, you are correct. As the poster above said you go until you pop

It will go for as long as you can keep going.

Almost: it is 0.75 x [average power in the last minute].

So if you finish the last “step” at 208 W average and then immediately stop, you get an FTP of 156 W. But if you partially complete the next step, your computed FTP will increase as the average increases from 208 W to whatever the wattage of the next step is.
