You can adjust your training approach too in your career> account> adaptive trainingโ€ฆ changing this can change how RLGL works for your goals, training etc.

As you can see Iโ€™m pushing mine a little bit and canโ€™t blame TR for blowing up.

Is it possible to turn this off on our calendar at all?

Are you asking about the entirety of RLGL or an option to have it active, but not displayed in one place or another?

AFAIK, itโ€™s all or nothing. Meaning you will see it on the Career and Calendar pages if you have it on in the settings.

Thanks, was just looking to turn it off. The colors are annoying me a bit.

It looks like youโ€™re getting those red days not necessarily because the rides are outside, but because theyโ€™re a much bigger bump in training stress than the rest of your rides. To me, it makes sense that those rides would trigger a red day on your TR Calendar โ€“ especially if youโ€™ve been training for periods of time without regularly doing bigger rides and then jumping into them without much of a buildup.

Red and yellow days arenโ€™t always a bad thing โ€“ just trying to make it clear why those days were appearing in the first place!

Iโ€™m flying a little close to the sun finishing up the last week of Base 3. Iโ€™m surprised RLGL hasnโ€™t given me a Red day for tomorrow with my โ€œTraining Approachโ€ being set to โ€œBalancedโ€. Intervals.icu thinks Iโ€™m playing with fire!

So thereโ€™s two ways to read that; one is that โ€œthose are big days, I need more restโ€ the other way isโ€ฆI can make the rest of my workouts more stressful so those big days arenโ€™t triggering red.

Thatโ€™s true! If you donโ€™t increase your training stress gradually, though, youโ€™ll probably see red days on your TR Calendar. Over time and with a steady increase (rather than a sudden jump), RLGL will adapt to your new โ€œbaselineโ€ as you work up to it.

FWIW the TSB (or โ€œformโ€) metric was originally designed to signal youโ€™ve absorbed the training of the previous block, so its use was intended as a super-compensation โ€œmission accomplishedโ€ signal.

A suggestion: Itโ€™d be nice to have the option to overrule the โ€œrest dayโ€ response in TrainNow. Perhaps have it suggest some recovery options, or even give the user the option to train if they want. As I have experienced it so far, TrainNow is basically deactivated for RLGL-defined rest days.

I am coming back from covid and feel that an extended ilness could rate as a yellow or red light. Or maybe ask a survey question. Maybe not the threashold seasion i am looking at.

Do you have the illness annotation on your calendar (spanning multiple days even)?

I donโ€™t know that RLGL is looking at that yet, but Iโ€™d be sure to add those for starters. Lacking those smarts, sickness is one of the many things still in our hands at this time.

Yes, I should have framed this as a feature sugestion, not a concern or complaint.

Can someone explain what is going on here?
No training during this period but the lighting is doing some weird things!

Thatโ€™s very likely a bug. I would suggest passing it along to support@trainerroad.com!

I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever seen my fitness over 90 on intervals, nice!

Which account are you looking at? The tonistali one Iโ€™m seeing thatโ€™s associated with your email is inactiveโ€ฆ
