Frank (10 year old yorkie) and Beans (11 month old goldendoodle) keep my on my toes and love riding in the trailer!!
Lucy - either sleeps on her back or under the table. A little over a year old. I take her running 6 days a week, 6-8 miles per day. Some days we average 9 min pace and other days I let her just set the pace, ie this morning I let her go we averaged 7:30s for 6 miles. She has way too much energy and is super fast. We’ve done a 5:40 mile that was the fastest. Running her keeps her somewhat calm the rest of the day.
The old black lab is 11 and only wants to sleep or have her belly rubbed.
I’m a simple person, I see a pupper, I click thumbs up.
I lost my best friend and companion Baxter last November. He was pretty unlucky with his health and was just 6 years old.
He was an amazing dog, a beautiful Tuxedo Cockapoo and watching him and my now nearly 2 year old daughter bond was a pleasure. I’m only gutted they didn’t get to continue that friendship!
I think of him everyday and will never forget him!![]()

I lost 2 dogs in the last year. One was 14 and one was 16. There isn’t a day that goes by that i don’t think of them. Reading your post makes me realize how very grateful i am for all of the time i was able to spend with them. I have found as time goes by it hurts a little less and I think back to all of the awesome times we had together.
PS did he get some extra white as he got older?
I spent a lot of time feeling angry and cheated but I’m coming around now. I know he had a wonderful life and there are so many wonderful memories. I also grew up with labs and although they managed to live to 14/15 respectively its never any easier.
As he got older his white bits didn’t get any Whiter but he did start to get grey flecks on the top of his coat but that actually started when he was about 1 or 2. It was really noticeable when he needed a haircut but not so much afterwards.
