Next spring/summer I’ll be doing two hilly olympic distance triathlons and I’m planning out my training now. At first I figured following a tri-specific speciality plan or a low volume 40k TT plan would work, but the dominate feature of both of the bike courses I’ll be racing on is a significant amount of climbing. Any logic to doing a low volume climbing road race plan instead of something more triathlon specific?
