SRAM Quarq power meter battery is draining fast

I have SRAM Red AXS eTap with built in Quarq (model 2019). lately the 2032 battery is draining super fast and clearly there is an issue. I went through SRAM procedure for troubleshooting which was very basic, without success. the Quarq itself when operating provides accurate wattage and RPM. anyone had the same issue and able to resolve?

Indirectly, I reckon the unit might not switch itself off. I had the same issue with one of my brake/shift levers.

Any remedies ?

If you’re using the bitter coated battery….

Nope… using Energizer…

My old LBS replaced the motion sensor, twice, to no avail. I had to get a new shifter. I’d definitely contact support.

What do you consider draining fast?

In my experience with energizer batteries I get 150hrs in summer and a max of 75-90hrs when riding is in 30-44°F range and it’s 2 Quarqs
