Why do my newest workouts (done with the TR Android software) have Strava icons attached in the calendar? They were uploaded to Strava, but so were all the earlier ones.
Just checked, seeing this too.
The icons don’t match between web and iOS. Kinda looks like a something that got released by accident.
That or it is a staged release and not every platform is on the same level yet.
I posted this on the Strava API thread. Looks like Strava really shot themselves in the foot, losing a lot of their branding now in TR.
I see the calendar now shows the Zwift logo on the map. I think that’s new, used to show the Strava one previously for Zwift activities? As the data was coming from there.
Guess TR have changed it to reflect where the activity happened rather than where the data was pushed to TR from? Funnily enough TR workouts show a Strava logo rather than a TR one.
No logo at all for outdoor ride which would have come from Garmin, maybe as it comes from Strava and Garmin, TR haven’t put a logo on it.
- Sort of?
- The Zwift ride is Zwift despite taking the Strava path to TR.
- Perhaps this is still a work in progress, but my MTB ride was recorded on Wahoo which lacks a direct link to TR, so it is “Strava” as we might expect.
- More interesting & odd to me is the Strava flag on the TR workout that was direct from TR, presumably.
- Once I open the workout, it shows what we’d expect (TR Inside).
- So in the calendar side above, I think that may be bug or error at present.
Anyone know what the gold star in the top right corner of a completed workout means? Its clickable.
Gold Cup maybe? Personal Record contained in that ride.
The Strava icons shouldn’t be showing on completed TR workouts and that’s a bug we’re fixing as we speak.

This is part of the ongoing work for the Zwift integration. It shouldn’t be showing yet and we’re updating that now too.

@TrekCentury that’s to add a workout to your Favorites list. Those are accessible in the Workouts section of the app.
Pure speculation but maybe TR is labeling where workouts come from so they can sort incoming data into Strava vs. Non-Strava, and only use the latter for AI-related stuff.
