Yes!! I thought it was just me. I can’t see why/ how it keeps happening. I thought it might be my leg rubbing it but can’t see how that would happen so I can only think the wind catches underneath it?
Current option is a bit of tape to secure it down to the frame
I hope you are are correct, so I can afford a new SL7. But, I don’t really see them having much to improve on the SL7. Since they are still hard to come. by, I’m going to guess 2024 at earliest. But, I’d love to be wrong!
I’m getting some quotes for an SL7 here in the UK, not many frames around, has anyone seen any of these 3 frame colours out in the real world?? All look good to me so I need to decide which one I ask for a quote/availability on!
Interesting the UK are saying they’ve not had any definite info on 23 models bar the fact red framesets aren’t available and remaining colour framesets stay the same??
I’ve seen the bottom one, green black combo. Not bad. It’s more of a matte finish. The store might still have it in stock, in Maryland. I prefer the black and gray version.
I still have an SL6 and would a new frame, but I’m waiting on a color combo I love
small pattern sponge camo on the first one looks terrible imo, and will age poorly.
“frozen” style crystal paint on the second one seems to be a current trend - colnago etc.
I found my somewhat local shop has an S-Works frame I’m in love with. I REALLY want to get it, but can’t seem to justify the cost to my wife and myself. I’ve always been cleared by my wife to get what I’ve wanted, but this just seems too far of a stretch and ask. I could find a way to justify 3k for a frame, which is still a ton, but 5500 and a swap over of my current set up would likely top out at 6k or more.
I really hope they have great regular SL7 frame color choices…that I can get.
I mostly ride my tri bike outside in summer and train on my SL6 on the trainer. It would be fun to deck out the new frame, but not likely to happen. Guess I need to buy some scratch offs!
In case you live in the northern hemisphere, and you only ride outside in the summer, it’s probably better to wait for the SL8 in July of 2023. That should likely put a lot of SL7s on the second hand market at a more reasonable price …
