My name is Daniel, I’m a Product Designer here at TrainerRoad. We’re always working to improve the user experience for our customers. (that’s you!) We want to ensure we’re building tools in a way that best suit your needs.
Below are two quick polls we’d love your feedback on. As we develop and test these new features we’ll share more, but for now, I promise this is an important question to us.
Thanks for your input and riding with TrainerRoad.

While my mouse and sometimes keyboard are usually within reach and I can keep pedalling, it still always is an interruption of sorts. Like, I do have to break my ‘flow’ to do anything with the app.
Oops, I accidentally pressed ‘within reach’ for my desktop incorrectly and I can’t seem to undo… can you switch my vote to out of reach. It’s a pain, hence why I now use my phone.
I have to unclip and get off bike to adjust setting it would be nice to have some type of “light” app that could control some settings from my phone or tablet.
I try to keep my cheap droid phone free from as many apps as possible, and very much like the larger screen of the computer.
I often surf the internet while doing endurance workouts. Or do other stuff on my dedicated pain cave desktop. Actually have two screens, one is always running a tv show/movie or a bike race. The other is for general interaction.
I often change workouts or add workouts after a first one. Wish there was a feature “load snippet”, similar to the workout creator. Let’s say you’re in a threshold intervall workout. After the intervals you decide you do some more tempo stuff. Would be nice just to load a “tempo snippet” into the current workout.
Furthermore in the context of “within reach”, would be really nice if moving forward/backward within a workout would be easier, e.g. not having to pause the workout first. Skipping an interval or moving to the next by just clicking into the chart.
