Training approach for weekly racing

I know it might not be ideal for periodization but l am currently racing on Thursdays every week (about 30 to 50 min virtual TTTs). I’d like to hear your opinions on how to plan a training week.
I am following a Master’s plan where l replaced one of the HI days for a hard group ride the day l race. I’d want also to keep 2 strength/running sessions in the week.

I think you are correct to swap out one of the “hard” days for the race.

Consider how the race compares to the workout you are swapping it for. If you are swapping a 50 min virtual TT for a 60 min threshold workout, it should be a wash.

Leave everything else as was to start with, but monitor yourself for fatigue etc. and adjust as required.
