Troubleshoot: TrainerRoad --> Garmin -X-> TrainingPeaks

I’ve had a TrainingPeaks account for a few years but haven’t used it. I just logged into TP and looked at my calendar and don’t see any TrainerRoad workouts.

I have TrainerRoad syncing to GarminConnect and GarminConnect syncing to TP. Here’s what looks like is happening:

  • Rides that I’ve done using my Garmin headunit (i.e. outdoor rides and not TR) are syncing to TP.

  • My TR workouts are syncing to GC but not making into TP.

Any suggestions on how to fix/pull in my TR history to TP?

It doesn’t work like that.

You need to do a direct TP → TR sync.

I see. I had assumed workouts pushed to Garmin Connect would then sync through to TrainingPeaks. Guess that explains it.
