Visiting Las Vegas in October

Hi Guys,
I’m visiting Las Vegas in October, staying on the Strip (Planet Hollywood), for a 4 days, sadly I won’t be able to get out and explore on the bike but luckily, as I don’t drink, I won’t have any hangovers to sleep off so I should be awake nice and early each day.

What I’m trying to find is any cool bike shops close to the strip that sell any cool clothing that isn’t readily available in the UK.

Any ideas?

Right now they are ripping up a lot of the strip for the F1 race.

I know… I’m sure Vegas being Vegas it’ll still put on a show for us.

Unfortunately, Las Vegas is not anywhere up there in terms of bike culture or scene. Its surprising for a city of its size(~1M), but when you think more deeply about the industry that fuels it and the people it attracts, it makes sense I suppose. There are a handful of shops, none of which will be near the strip, and none or which are really worth going out of your way for…

There is good riding on and off road there west of the strip, plenty of red rocks and smooth roads. Look into it if you have the time and money.
When I went to Vegas for Sema years ago I drove there and broke my road bike. Got three days of good riding in the early AM.

If you have a chance, visit the Valley of Fire State Park. It’s about 40-minutes out of town but definitely worth the trip.
