Wahoo and trainer road keeps coming back as not syncing?

Hi guys any advice with this? Have tried what’s suggested but keeps looping…

I’d log into TR on the web and reauthorize your Wahoo connection from there.

Wahoo has changed some things with their connection following the release of their newest head unit. It looks like they might not be supporting the older connection anymore which we sort of expected to happen at some point.

I’ve got a gen 1 roam if that’s makes a difference… on the TR page it says connected. But the wahoo is playing up so will contact them and keep you informed.

Ok been speaking to wahoo and they will investigate it… I have a feeling that it’s actually all ok and just an app error as I can push workouts onto my roam… will keep you guys updated incase it helps anyone else

I’m experiencing the same issue. I even tried deleting the Wahoo app and when I readded it at first the error message went away but when I added Zwift and Ride with GPS the error message rerurned. I am interested in what you hear from Wahoo.

Does it actually not do something functionally because of this? I can still get the workouts on my wahoo roam. So I’m wondering if it’s actually just wahoo app just throwing up a wrong message

This is a possibility. I’ve heard that once the new Wahoo integration is enabled the sync status for TR (and possibly other platforms) might throw an error. In this case, things will still function properly.

I can’t yet say with 100% certainty that this is what you’re experiencing, but I’m about 80% sure. :innocent:
