I did some sweet spot intervals outside yesterday using my wahoo elemnt to record the data. When I compare the average lap power numbers AND normalized power numbers between trainerroad and the wahoo app, the trainerroad numbers are consistently ~10 watts lower? Can anyone explain this and which is correct?
I’ve noticed this as well.
My best guess by analyzing my data is that there’s occasionally power dropouts outside that TR counts as zero power, but Wahoo omits in calculating the averages. I’ve went ahead and circled a potential dropout on attached screenshot from my TrainerRoad ride. Usually, when I don’t notice something like this, then the average numbers are much closer.
