I seem to remember a velcro water bottle and cage awhile back…or maybe it was a little nub the bottle slid into? Does anybody remember this thing? Is it still available? Thanks

A VERY long time ago there was a velcro bottle cage/bottle. It was made by Cannondale (during the very early train station logo days).

Something like that is what I was thinking of but it was the magnets that I saw. You know…a little carbon fiber, velcro, and some glue and a guy could… Nah, just buy one, right? Thanks

I’ve got the fabric ones on my cross bike. The little knobs are really unobtrusive and can easily be left on the bike, they don’t get in the way when shouldering it etc. Putting a bottle needs a little bit of concentration, because you need to be quite exact - it’s not hard, but harder than putting it into a bottle cage. The biggest downside to me is that you need to buy the specific bottle for it.
