What GRAVEL races/rides are you planning for 2020?

Ok, I know, another topic. But GRAVEL! I love gravel racing. What races/events are y’all planning for 2020? I’ve got:

-Lost and Found
-Grinduro
-Truckee Dirt Fondo
-Grasshopper Adventure Series (lots of goodies here)
-Tour de Placer Roubaix

There’s literally too many to list.

Good luck with the lottery.

This looks super fun, too.

This is the one I really want to do…still not sure if I can make it this year

Doing this but cheating and only doing red (64 miles, 4k elevation) since crits are my priority this year

I have family conflicts this year for BWR, DK and SBT GRVL…boo.

I’m signed up for Barry Roubaix and may do Coast to Coast. Past that…:man_shrugging:

This looked like a great event this year, and I’d love to give it a go. Probably not in 2020. Definitely understand getting after crits, and focusing on that. Best of luck!!

I’ll be entering the DK200 lottery shortly as well. I’ve got the bug to do some crazy 300+ mile ride in 2020 or 2021 as well.

Mid South 100
Barry Roubaix
Sancho 200 (depends on DK)
DK200 (lottery)

I just talked with my wife about this over dinner. I’m thinking The Epic 150 and hopefully DK200. We’ll see if I get through the lottery.

Ugh thanks for the reminder!! Unfortunately it’s sold out! Anyone know if there’s a wait list?

Very good. Very fun event. One of the best for sure. Soak it up. Take part in the whole event, if you are able. It is a true “hybrid” of road and gravel mix. you will get a great tase, and A solid ride with the Wafer.

have you decided on exact bike choice? Lots of ways to go.

I have Specialized Diverge that I use for commuting/gravel rides. Have a group of about 10 riders going. Should be fantastic, looking forward to it.

I’m planning on doing the Gold Rush Gravel Grinder as well - probably the 110 mile route. I hear that Perry and the Ridge Riders put on a good race.

Perry and more important Kristi put on a few great races. We’ll be camped in our Sprinter in the Spearfish City Park (also the start and finish), come have a beer when the day is over.

That’s a solid list!

I had a conflict of schedule that is forcing me to back out of the DK 100 but I plan on replacing it with the Epic in MO in april.

Have you done the Coast 2 Coast before? I’m considering this one for this year as well. @tsquared
