Hi TR folks. I’m in my last week of a 12wk Rolling Road plan that was aimed at preparing me for my first road race next weekend. I’ve been doing some crits over Summer (after some surgery last year) and now heading into Autumn / Winter season with our club running road races (Kermesse). My FTP has been building progressively 1-2% per month and I’m now sitting at 2.8W/kg @91kg. I have a goal in my head of getting to 3W/kg by the end of the year (Alp d’Zwift 1hr target and stepping up to Cat B Masters in the next crit season) and am keen to know what plan I should look to incorporate into my training for the next 3-6mths. I plan to use the seasonal road races as training, with TR on a trainer as my main sessions and with a couple of weight sessions per week. Thoughts and advice appreciated.
Hey @WeeCheezy
Congrats on finishing the Rolling Road plan and seeing consistent FTP gains!!
We actually just released Zwift training plans and one of them is “Climbing Faster up Alp Du Zwift”!
This could be a great option, if not you can create a more specific Event/Race plan Criterium to help steeping up to Cat B Master.

I did the TT plan after rolling road race 2 years ago. It helped improve my endurance while climbing. I guess it was the long hard intervals with no rest.
