I’m looking for an online source of proper cycling journalism - happy to pay. A little bit like https://theathletic.co.uk/ but for cycling? I don’t mind magazines but I hate the wasted paper, and the fact that I get advertised to even though I just paid for it.
I can recommend https://journal.rouleur.cc/home/. Been a subscriber since a couple of years now and looking foward for very new issue.
Try inrng
Personally I have found the content on INRNG to have really fallen off. The best stuff is often around up and coming riders, reviews of annual predictions, and some of the deep dives into team finances, or wins analysis, etc. That being said, it’s become highly repetitive, for me at least. And it’s not a great source of consistent “news” within the industry. It’s free, it’s interesting (or has been), and i’d imagine a one-man show…so I can’t expect too too much from it over time. Just my 2 cents.
@Thorstan I too like Rouleur and just noticed they have a digital subscription through the app!
I strongly recommend Cyclist, a UK magazine: https://www.cyclist.co.uk. I very strongly recommend it. Bonus: they have a biweekly (every two weeks, not twice a week) podcast now that is great fun to listen to (it’s better if you know “British”): Cyclist Magazine Podcast | Cyclist
