I’m asking this outside of the bargains thread as this is more of an ongoing/medium term endeavour.
A couple of the cycling news sites and podcasts I read/listen to have mentioned large stock surpluses across the entire range of cycling gear, from components to bikes and that they expect some heavy discounting to clear inventory.
I’m interested in a new road/gravel bike but I’m not in any rush. Having taken a cursory look at sites like Tredz, Merlin, Wiggle etc, I don’t see anything beyond the normal discounts I’ve seen many times before.
So which sites should I be checking regularly? Are there more one of in store deals? I’m not opposed to building up my own bike if going frame + components is better.
