I have had a tacx vortex for a while and didnt know if any of the newer technology like a kickr is worth the money and would help in training. thanks
What kind of help are you looking for that a new trainer would bring? I bought the cheapest one I could find, and although I’m skeptical about the power curve (I personally don’t believe my FTP is 301), the quality of the workouts is high; sweet spots feel tough but doable, VO2 efforts are hard etc …
For what it’s worth a dumb trainer seems to remove any hassle of connection/software issues
im not looking for help but didnt know if newer trainers would be closer to actual riding, have there been improvements in the technology etc…
