I’m at a point now where I realize the indoor cycling bug isn’t going away anytime soon. I’ve been thinking about picking up a Wahoo Kickr Bike, but I was curious if anyone has any thoughts/theories on when they might release an updated bike that addresses some of the minor issues that users have been dealing with on the first iteration.
If it was a piece of electronics I’d definitely hold off as it was released well over 2 years ago at this point. But I know the bike industry isn’t hurting for money right now, and thus isn’t pushing innovation when they don’t need to.
My assumption is that if a release was going to happen anytime soon, it would’ve happened before the indoor riding season to capitalize on the holidays and people gearing up for cold weather, but perhaps there’s something I’m not considering, it’s a bunch of money so I’d rather not plunk down $3500, and the new model to come out a month later.
