In less than two pedal Strokes it’s showing me reaching 7 or 6 mph which is way way off. I’m trying to calibrate I’ve repeated it a couple times and keep seeing that it has failed I am looking for advice on this issue with zwift Hub and trainer Road
You dont need to do that. The zwift hub has auto calibration during spindown just stop pedalling for a few seconds after warm up and it auto calibrates
I think from memory, I connect mine via ANT+ to Zwift , that brings up a little spanner next to the trainer icon, click on that and it’ll take you through the Zwift calibration process. Obviously, if you’re not on Zwift then you can’t do that, although you do get a free 25km a month so you could create an account just for that. I’m not 100% , but I don’t think I’ve been able to do the ZWift calibration via Bluetooth, but I’m happy to be corrected on this.
I have the Zwift hub and this morning was able to do a calibration in the TR app (BT connection). It was the first time I calibrated it.
As @MeMeToo said, the Zwift Hub should automatically calibrate – more info here from Zwift if you need it.
Thanks All, for your replies. I appreciate it! I had opened ZWIFT and did a short ride to try and enable the tool to do a calibration in |ZWIFT without success. I am leaning towards ZWIFT Hub autocalibrating but question why in TR I see the option and when trying it the speed shows over 6mph in less than one or two pedal strokes. I am hopefull that the setup is working properly.
I honestly wouldn’t worry about. The trainer probably is calibrated correctly for someone pedaling 2 strokes.
