I’ve had the WR45 (regular version, not the extra light) from Light Bicycle for 4 years now. They’ve held up great. I even ran over one of them with my car at low speed () and it is completely fine.
I know several people with their rims that had good experience.
You will need to email back and forth with them. They offer more options than they list on the website. Just tell them what you’re looking for on your build and see what they come back with.
The main downside is shipping time and potentially needing to pay tariff.
If it truly only had clearance for 28mm actual width, then more than a bit dated as far as trends. However, if that is 28mm plus 6mm clearance on every side and you really can run 32mm actual width, then it’s much better.
incycle have the zee II cages on sale (price varies depending on color).
You can get left and right facing ones (I believe a right is one that opens to the right when mounted on the downtube, and faces to the left on the seat tube). These should work with the SWAT tool.
