Year on year there are a fair amount of episodes on the podcast that discuss or deep dive on something nutritional. Yet, there is nothing integrated on the TR system. So my idea was pretty basic but could be impactful.
Athletes could input their nutrition after an activity in the same way you use the strength app. Users could input number of bottles, at what size in ml, with how much carbohydrates. Same with gels, and bars, and then have a custom section for the cafe stop (cake etc ). Perhaps adding a drop down box, or just an open box to type in the brand.
Aside to this, the feature could use the data drawn from the duration of the activity and work out a rough average of grams CHO/hr.
The impact: Athletes with the aim to increase CHO/hr could track what works and what may have caused gastric issues, which could then be directly correlated to RPE metrics or lower than normal power.
Nutrition is at times equally, if not more important than the workout.
