Ride Fast, Eat Trash (Gas Station Nutrition)

Finally getting a handlebar bag in a couple of weeks from a really cool place (camelchopsgear.co.uk) and I’ll be able to really vary my options for garbage food on long rides.

@Power13 Why do they keep making new Oreos?

You know, I’ve never considered this before but you’re absolutely right.

They peaked at carrot cake.

WHAT?! Is that really a thing?

Do it.

Seemingly hard to find UK wise.

We don’t get half the stuff the US does.

And the same goes here as well. UK proximity to EU means you also get a LOT of stuff that will never see US stores.

As my kids would say, that’s a bad take! Oreos for the win!!

Like, we get it, Eat This Not That, you hate Oreos… did it have to be listed five different times? Lazy list of 30 if you ask me.

Otherwise, that whole list in five words:

“Avoid cookies with artificial filling.”

Didn’t see Golden Oreos on there, so I think we’re good there!

I feel like this thread needs a Christmas bump.

I’m finding leftover Christmas pudding to be superb ride fuel. Moist enough to ram in mouth. Loads of sugar.

I bought some holiday fudge-dipped Ritz crackers on sale at the store this morning. Not ideal for your jersey pocket but perfect for the trainer. Sweet and salty.

Beautiful.

Every once in a while if doing a long route (220-250 kms) I’ll stop for a beaver tail.
