I just realised that removing and putting the back wheel just looking at the drive side, some times the disc break scratches the frame
Yup it does - I put some helicopter tape on to protect it.
Can you please post a photo of the point you are talking about? Sorry to hear
It happens when I put the wheel back
Okay thanks, I’ll keep an eye out. I might even put some frame protector stickers on.
Has anyone tried their Emonda with the new adaptors yet?
I installed the adapter last night and did a short 45min ride. Everything works well. One thing to note is that the kit actually has 3 pieces - there’s a new lock nut and thru axle piece on the cassette side.
How was the install? Their instructions are somewhat sparse!
I also wonder if they’ll need a similar kit for the KICKR CLIMB?
The install was relatively straightforward. Wahoo didn’t include any diagrams, which would’ve been useful.
After taking off the cassette, you have to remove the old lock nut for the freehub and replace with the new one. Only 1 piece out of the 3 new pieces has screw threads, so you can’t really go wrong. But again, some illustrations would be nice.
Nope, it’s the wrench flat for installation.
Still no sign of my parts kit and Wahoo can’t provide a timeline…
Same here. I received notice 5/25.
They continue the trend of poor customer service. I like how below they mention how responding will “impede the process”.
My kickr is a large, expensive paper weight.
“Please note that for the sake of efficiency, we will not be troubleshooting further on this ticket as it will impede the process for ordering and shipping these adapters. Please only provide the correct shipping address and phone number. If any additional assistance is needed, please open a separate ticket and one of our agents will be happy to assist.
This ticket will update with tracking info once your adapters leave the warehouse, and thank you again for your continued patience.”
I’ve tried starting a new ticket, and they just merged it into the old one and didn’t reply. I’m really unimpressed with the fact they’re literally ignoring requests for updates and can’t provide any form of update for $1,000 piece of technology. My original ticket was almost 6 months ago…
I finally received mine yesterday. I’m glad it arrived as it was mailed to “unknown name”.
Do you know where yours shipped from? I have a mystery package headed my way from Texas and not sure if that could be it.
It came from Doraville, Ga
Just got a shipping notification and a package is headed my way via UPS from Doraville. Gets here tomorrow.
No luck yet for me here in the UK.
My original ticket with Wahoo was raised in August last year!!!
No responses to chases anymore either
Received mine in the mail last week, am in Northeast US. Package came from Duluth, GA. Haven’t installed or even opened the package yet lol. Will post back once I have
